A diamond in the rough with your typical New England attitude, rotten. Don't show up there with questions because only one out of the bunch is willing to help. They probably have what you're looking for but you're going to have to hunt for it. Their inventory consists of giant, out dated binders, no computers. I also recommend not being in a hurry as checking out can take several times longer than most big box stores due to either one person checking customers out and/or having to hunt through there massive binder item by item for prices.
A real lumber yard, massive inventory, large warehouse like "showroom" that is not for you Lexus folks... staff's a bit gruff, but it's a lumber yard so deal with it. Many things that you won't find in a H-D or Lowes, especially when it comes to wood. This is not a fast drive in/drive out place. You'll wait at the counter to inquire about your needs, then drive into the massive yard to pick out your lumber with a yardman, and finally check out at the counter. Long length dimensional lumber, pressure treated, various plywood (stay away from the crappy Chinese stuff!) , millwork, and hardwood. Lots of classic hardware and yard stuff, too.
Horrible, they we're rude and disrespectful! Quoted one price, then charged another!
If it's wood, and you need it, it is probably here. An experience. Like it used to be and hopefully will continue into the future. primarily for the tradesman and committed home improvement homeowner.
Second time I called to check stock and was told they had it. Drove an hour to find out they did not .Customer service that rivals comcast.Can a diamond turn back to coal. Maybe!
