Smelled terribly of moldy wood is my closest analogy of the scent
The guy there is super cool the girl is nice just needs to learn more English but she's not too bad they keep there rooms as clean as they can nice king size bed rooms over all its a ok hotel when u need somewhere to go and they let me keep my r v there for no extra charge and I got 2 rooms in my hotel how much more do u want lol and obviously my daughter likes it
The motel wasn't too bad, just needs minor improvements
It began the minute we walked in to confirm our reservation and procure the key to our room. We requested a non smoking room, in which the owner tried to talk us out of, saying that "It's the only non smoking room in the establishment". He went on to say that if we were to extend our stay , we would need to check into a smoking room because he had a reservation pending for Thursday (3 days from this point). The room was nice enough at first glance, however upon further review, the blanket provided had yellow stains and cigarette burns on it, the toilet had a black ring around it, and the room had a funky smell in which the origin could not be found. The next morning, we decided to sit on the chairs available in the front area of the hotel. We pulled the chairs closer together in order to have a conversation. We were promptly greeted by the owner who reprimanded us instantly for doing this. "If you do this, then everyone else will want to do the same and you can see this from the street" we immediately placed the chairs back to the original 8 feet apart position. The day prior to this, we payed $200 for a 3 day stay. A week stay is approximately $275. I asked the man that if we payed an additional $75 could we stay for the week. He responded with this.."consider the $200 you payed gone. You must pay $275 in order to stay for the week. Consider the money already paid gone." During the rest of our stay, we did not receive room service and when asked if we could, the owner responded "You are in there 24/7 How am I supposed to vacuum the room." Note, due to our work schedules, we were hardly there. Another note, all he had to do is knock on the door and ask us if we want room service. We asked for towels and was greeted with eye rolling and huffing and puffing. We asked for toilet paper and that seemed to be an issue as well. We were then asked when we were going to check out. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. THE MANAGER IS NIT PICKY, HOVERING, AND ANNOYING. THE SERVICE IS AWFUL AND UNPLEASANT. WE FELT AS IF WE WERE A NUSIANCE RATHER THAN PAYING CUSTOMERS...AWFUL PLACE, AWFUL PEOPLE....STAY AWAY
Very nice, clean, cozy motel run by a wonderful family. They are very accommodating here and give you the quiet and respect you would want. Always our local go-to. Lowest weekly rates around.
