Justin was supposed to move a bunch of items out of my Dad's house in an enclosed trailer. He was punctual to get the sale, but late on moving day. He shows up with an open dump trailer, not the enclosed trailer he promised. My dad was under the gun with a settlement date and had no alternatives. He also shows up with no moving blankets or pads. And he shows up with NO HANDTRUCK. A mover with no hand truck??? So my dad let him use his and provided boxes for padding. He shows up at my house where we are storing the stuff and stuff fell off the trailer apparently and items were damaged materially. We wound up missing 5 of 8 file cabinet drawers with valuable service manuals and sensitive financial information. (He told me they left them at my dads, I called my dad after he left and he said they took them) He lost 4 shelving units. He damaged the dining room set. A glass top for a table was completely missing save for a few glass shards. When asked for his insurance, he refused and threatened he would not leave without reloading everything. This was the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL moving experience ever. We would have been better off with college kids. He was going to refund a few hundred dollars for the damaged, which wasn't even remotely close. We need his insurance info to file a claim for all the damage and lost items!
